In this Thematic Studio we have explored the potential of the Austrian Pavilion in Giardini della Biennale. The first step was to create a variety of porosity models which dictated the design afterwards. After experimenting with different materials such as plaster, zip ties, chains, threads and 3D printed pieces, we have focused on developing a module to multiply and adapt to the given site. The programme of the addition was a kindergarden for the children of Venice and the pavilion itself would serve as a playground for all the children visiting the garden.
