I worked as an architectural assistant at Ollier Smurthwaite Architects, an award winning practice in Manchester. As a Part 1, my duties varied from designing and drawing various building details and plans/sections/elevations in Vectorworks, to designing brochures and producing presentation sheets. The project I’ve worked on the most was  Elisabeth Mill. Because my main interest lies in the branch of architecture concerning restoration this project was a great opportunity for me to learn about building regulations and explore ways of investigating listed buildings.
